The best logos according the European Design

Earlier this year, European Design Awards took place in order to stress the talent of European designers and agencies. Two of the categories gave awards to logo related design: Brand Logo and Company Logo.

The five winners for best Company Logo design were:

Client: Dulce Xerach
Agency: Valladares, diseño y comunicacion

Client: Besturenraad
Agency: am + d creative communications

Client: Luxembourg et Grande Région Capitale Européenne de la culture
Agency: Vidale-Gloesener Sarl

Client: Fund of Social Communications
Agency: o.pudov

Client: Punane Puu
Agency: LOOVVOOL

I find them really appealing, expect for the Dulce Xerach which I find very simple and it seems like it wasn’t well finished. The Luxembourg et Grande Région Capitale Européenne de la culture has to be one of my favourites, it’s bright and eye-catching.

The five winners for the best Brand Logo design were:

Client: Senate Department for Urban Development, Berlin
Agency: gewerk GmbH + Co.KG

Client: Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
Agency: El Paso, Galería de Comunicación

Client: GETXOPHOTO
Agency: Barfutura

Client: Facoltà di Architettura di Alghero, Università di Sassari
Agency: élitradesign

Client: Sancti Spíritus Wines
Agency: El Paso, Galería de Comunicación

Out of those five, the one I find the most well done, is the Berliner Mauer, which stands for “Berlin Wall”. The logo shows us perfectly the broken wall and helps the reading of the name, it’s simple and it works quite well.

What do you think about the logos? Which ones work the best? Drop a comment!
